When it comes to beauty, there are certain products that are must-haves in our routines. For some of us, it’s a good skincare routine. For others, it’s a specific type of mascara. While I am a huge fan of all things skincare, I do need to add one extra thing that belongs more in the body care category – hand cream.
some of you might know this story, but while I am going through college and living in London, I started developing some issues with the skin on my hand. At that time I was not sure whether it was the water quality, the substances I used during my labs, or perhaps the weather. I am still not 100% sure, but I would say that it is a mix of all of the above. In any case, having a good hand cream on hand became more of a necessity than a beauty product I could live without.
I have tried many, many different hand creams over the past few years, and there haven’t been many such products that ticked all the boxes for me. Last year, I got an interesting hand cream in my Miin Cosmetics advent calendar which I actually loved.

Skybottle Viva La Pink Perfumed Hand Cream
Skybottle Viva La Pink Perfumed Hand Cream comes in a white tube with no dispenser – just like most other hand creams basically. Despite the simple yet elegant nat design, the packaging feels rather luxurious both that of the tube and that of the box the tube comes in.
The Skybottle Viva La Pink hand cream is thick but not greasy, and it has a light, refreshing scent. The scent is subtle but noticeable, and it lingers on the skin for a while after application. To me, the cream smells like grapefruit juice and I have to say that I actually enjoy the scent. It is not one I would necessarily consider a “happy” smell, but it is energizing.
The hand cream is very moisturizing and leaves my hands feeling soft and supple. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any oily residue behind. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and I haven’t noticed any “side effects”.
Another thing I need to add is that a little goes a long way so this tube will last you a pretty while.

Reasons why I like the Viva La Pink Hand Cream from Skybottle:
- the hand cream has a nice buttery texture, but it is not greasy
- it is quickly absorbed by the skin
- it leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturized
- has a subtle but refreshing grapefruit scent
- a little goes a long way
- packaging feels luxurious

The only thing that could make this hand cream better is a softer cap as the plastic is a bit hard even if the ridges help with gripping. It is not a requirement though.
All in all, I am quite liking the Skybottle Viva La Pink hand cream. It ticks all the boxes for me, and it even managed to surprise me with its light, refreshing scent. If you are looking for a new hand cream, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try!
