Albeit a bit late, I am back with my results for October. I haven’t forgotten about this challenge. You may or may not be interested in reading, but I will continue to post as this has helped my results considerably over the past 3-4 years since I embarked on this journey. It may not look like it, but it did. I will share my results for the past three years at the beginning of next year. I will try this time!
I know that I keep mentioning the great results, but hopefully early next year I will finally sit down and write the post some of you may be curious to read – how much did this challenge actually help me? I now do have quite a bit of data and comparatives to show you.

If September nearly pushed me into that territory that I promised myself I would not get into ever again or at least that I would try to avoid at all costs – going over the -£2500 limit that I am still trying to recover from ever since 2019/2020, October did. I was worried about November (you will see why in a few weeks), but it seems that I should have started worrying sooner.
In October I made two large purchases and then a few smaller ones. I had the bright idea and headed into Sephora. I nearly managed to leave without making any purchases until the very end (when I was about to leave the store) when I spotted the Gisou set as well as the Laneige set of mini lip sleeping masks. I was planning on getting one of the sleeping masks but then changed my mind given that I still have an open one from a few months ago, but the set was too much to pass. I do not regret my purchases, but maybe I should have stopped there.
As you can well see, I did not stop. In all honesty, Bath and Body Works launched their online store in my country so decided to pick up a few things to see how it worked and all that. Plus, I wanted to grab as many things from those on my list before going into the office and consequently into their physical store. I would rather not carry any more soaps and shower gels across the country if possible.
Nope, I made three big purchases. Before going to Sephora, I shopped online at the store. For the first time ever I found the Truly Beauty products on sale so I had to pick up some of the products from my wishlist. The products are amazing as I shared many times before, but they are not necessarily cheap. You are much better off shopping on their US website which ships internationally, well better off if you live anywhere else than where I live anyways.
I did spend more than I planned to that is for sure. I can say that I regret it much, but I am disappointed in myself for spending so much and for not finishing more products. At least I should have focused on more beauty reviews but not even that happened with the many beauty advent calendars and offers that launched in October.
Yeah, so this is my October.
How was your October?
