SkinCity to cease trading outside Scandinavia

Skincity, a leading online retailer of skincare and beauty products, has announced that it will be ceasing trading outside Scandinavia from 30th April 2023. The company made the difficult decision due to a variety of reasons, including changes in its business strategy and challenging market conditions.

According to the statement shared by the company, after the given date, customers won’t be able to place any orders on the website. However, they are still free to make purchases until the given date, and all orders placed before 30th April will still be shipped as usual.

While the news of Skincity ceasing its services for customers outside Scandinavia is undoubtedly disappointing, the company has promised to go out with a bang by offering special discounts on skincare and beauty products. This will be a last chance for customers to stock up on their favorite brands.

In the statement released this morning, the company thanked all of its customers for their custom and support over the years, expressing sadness at having to say goodbye to them. The team at Skincity also shared that they can be contacted for any queries or concerns via email at info@skincity.com.

The announcement has left many customers saddened, myself included, as Skincity has been a go-to online retailer for skincare and beauty products for many people outside Scandinavia. However, the company hopes that these customers will take advantage of the upcoming discounts as a farewell gesture and continue to support them in the future.

I will definitely miss SkinCity, their own brand products as well as some brands such as MakeTheMake that I only shopped from them. I hope that one day they will be back. In the meantime best of luck to them and let’s all take advantage of the last offers available to us in the EU and the rest of the world.

    Ah what a pity! πŸ™
Although I didn’t appreciate different prices for different countries that appeared at some moment and I remember I was discouraged from shopping because of that.

Yeah… I also did not appreciate now how that 40% off only applies to the UK. For me for example is only 20% but only if I spend €100… I have. It checked all countries but they should do 40 all across their stores.

I will miss access to MakeTheMake which to me was the best makeup brand out there. Their unique combo with skincare make their products especially great and they were also rather well priced. I cannot seem to find them elsewhere πŸ˜”πŸ˜”πŸ˜”
