Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm

We all know that maintaining perfect, blemish free skin is not easy. However, there are things we can do to try and achieve that ultimate goal. Of them is removing makeup.

There are tens if not hundreds of thousands of makeup removing products on the market. I tried 98979897 of them (complete exaggeration for those of who are new here, but I did try an awful lot). You should have seen my IG story (@blushsuedero) from a few weeks ago.

For the many makeup removers that I have tried, there have bene only a few that stood out. One such product is the Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis.

Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm Review

The Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis is as the name suggests a cleaning balm. Unlike many of the balm cleansing products that I have tried in the past, this one was a much ticker texture. However, that is not a bad thing.

The moment you start massaging the product onto your face, the balm melts into an oil. For this reason, the product is easy to play with and evenly spread all over the face.

After you finish massaging it all over your skin, all you need is a clean(!!!) and damp cloth to remove it. It is that easy!

What you are left with once you remove the Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis  from your face is hydrated, smooth and cleansed skin.

The Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis does an amazing job at not just removing your makeup, but also dirt. So you can totally use it even when you are not wearing makeup.

So what> you might wonder. There are other products out there that do a good job at removing makeup and dirt.

Sure, I am not disputing that. I agree and I have tried other products that fulfilled a similar function. However, this one stood out.

Because of what I mentioned above. The Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis leaves my skin really smooth and deeply nourished. After using this product, my complexion is simply glowing.

So unlike many other makeup removers on the market, effective and ineffective, the Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis not only does its job and does it well, but it also does not strip my skin and makes it feel tight, dry and uncomfortable. Quite the opposite in fact.

For this reason, I cannot help but recommend this product to everyone who is willing to give it a try.

However, there are a few things you should know.

A short ingredient analysis

According to my ingredient analysis, the product does not contain Alcohol, Sulfates, Parabens, Silicones, Synthetic Fragrances. However it does include a few ingredients that might cause allergies. Such ingredients are: Citronellol, Geraniol and Benzyl salicylate. So do watch out for them.

The product is also not gluten free.

Another thing to note is that while the Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm from Elemis does not contain any synthetic fragrances, the product is not fragrance free. The product has a floral scent that I cannot property describe. It does smell like roses, but combined with something else. The scent is strong, but not unpleasant.

However, the ingredient list can change at any time according to Elemis website. This analysis is based on my knowledge and the ingredients of my jar of cleansing balm.

Overall, I really love this product and like I said in the review, it does its job and does it does it well. Personally, I recommend giving this product a try as it is worth the money. However, do keep in mind the potential ingredients that your skin might not react well to.

Otherwise, the product should be good on all skin types.
